There Is Only Narrative: Non-Fiction Demystified is a new 12-month project launched in partnership with the Eve White Literary Agency. In this free, online masterclass Rae Earl will explore how they wrote their non-fiction titles My Mad Fat DiaryMy Madder Fatter Diary Vol. 2 and It’s All in Your Head: A Guide to Getting Your Sh*t Together.

The author developed My Mad Fat Diary from her teenage diaries, growing up in Stamford, Lincolnshire in the 1980s. The book was later made into TV series, which ran from 2013-2015. Rae has also worked as a copywriter and radio host.

The masterclass will include discussion, a written exercise and opportunity to ask the author questions.

It is paired with a survey on barriers to writing non-fiction. Click here to complete the short survey and receive a free guide to writing a non-fiction proposal document, which has been written by the agents at the Eve White Literary Agency.

Please note that because Rae Earl lives in Australia, we will be running this masterclass as a morning session from 10am-11.30am. The session will be recorded and made available on request.
